TL DR: Again, this tool should be great for turning a new assembly, but don't expect it to loosen stuck pistons. This head fits very well on the nose of the crankshaft. There is little wiggle room. Just the right amount. This product (and hence the reduction of the star) consists of two parts. The center piece, which may contain a ratchet or breaker (1/2 inch drive piece), is inserted into the main body of the bushing and secured to it with roll pins (one on each side). I think they do it to simplify production but it doesn't help me with what I need. I was hoping this tool would help me free the frozen motor but I couldn't apply enough torque to it for fear of shearing the pins. The outer wall of the bell is quite strong (5/16 to 1/4 inch thick) but now there is slight play in the middle of mine. Rather than destroying it, I left it alone to use in the future for its intended purpose, i.e. to turn the crank when assembling the engine. It should work fine for this as you don't have to apply a lot of torque to it to turn the new assembly.
