So far, so GREAT: my feedback

I have a 2019 Subaru Legacy. every turn signal, brake light and daytime running light is already an LED on my vehicle. However the headlights (low beam AND high beam bulbs) are all incandescent halogens. likely put in as a cost-saving move. So I really bought these for cosmetic reasons, I thought the yellow-shaded halogens on my car looked awful mixed with all those white-light LEDs.I bought a set of H11's for my low-beams and a set of 9005's for my high-beams. I know the low-beams will probably only last a few years (life expectancy of LED headlights), but my hope is the high-beams (because of very limited use) will last for the life of my vehicle. Both sets I purchased were of the Sealight Laxmas variety. These H11's here are the version without a dangling box/dongle connector. your car's wiring connects directly to the wiring for these without that small go-between box. This is a more compact design which most people will probably prefer. What I wasn't expecting was such a huge improvement in brightness and vision. These are night-and-day (pun intended) better than standard headlight bulbs. Wider vision, you can see further, and much more clearly. They are also brighter, and the white light interacts with painted road lines, reflectors and reflecting signs much better than the old halogen bulbs. You'll be shocked at how much highway markers and signs actually appear to light up and GLOW when bathed with the light created by these bulbs. HUGE improvement.Installation is as easy as installing any other headlight bulb - for me it took mere minutes with my Subaru. Unscrew/turn the old one, pull it out and disconnect, connect the new one, line up the tabs with the enclosure, insert, turn/screw it in place. Your results will vary based on the hand clearance your vehicle has under the hood near the bulb connections, but putting these in is the same as putting in any other headlight bulb.So far I've had no issues with these being "too bright" for oncoming traffic (they aren't too bright if they are installed/aimed correctly). When used in conjunction with high-beams the brightness is off the charts, but you're not supposed to aim high beams at oncoming traffic anyway. The only hang-up I have about these is the noise that fans on them create. If your engine is running, you'll never hear them. But if you park your vehicle and turn off the ignition you'll immediately notice the hum sound of the fans coming from the engine compartment. The amount of times I use my headlights without the ignition running is probably once or twice a year so its not a big deal for me. But if use your car's headlights in any capacity with the engine off, the noise of the fans may be an issue for you.I'm so satisfied with my purchase that these get 5 stars across the board. The thing I can't measure is longevity, but I'll update this here if these fail prematurely and need replacement.

Pros
  • Bright but not blinding
Cons
  • May not have a good warranty and return policy
