I meant a specific use case. Basically road bikes are big, bulky and very expensive for a Saturn so I don't need console specific wheels. I wanted to be able to get two regular wheels and use them with both the Saturn and the Dreamcast. I chose Subsonic Racing Wheel Universal (cheap on Craigslist) which supports PC, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. I checked that it works on my PC, tested the button and wheel mapping and noticed that the left analog stick (left/right) is used for the wheel, the pedals are mapped to LT and RT. I then tried using a wheel connected to a Brook Wingman SD with my Saturn. (I had to connect an Xbox One controller to the wheel because that's how you put the wheel in a specific system mode.) I loaded the Daytona Championship Circuit and lost a lot, but the controller worked great! In fact, where the wheel worked correctly and was in analog mode, the pedals were better than expected and, bonus, the paddles on the wheel for shifting were also properly mapped for shifting. I'm not sure if all games will run with the same mapping, but I was very pleased that everything worked as expected on the Saturn. I will update if this works or not with the Dreamcast but I suspect it will work fine. .UPDATE: I have updated the firmware and using the racing wheel also works with the Dreamcast. The only downside is that the Dreamcast has fewer buttons, so the display isn't as good. But Wingman lets you remap the map on the fly, so I was able to get it to work the way I wanted. Great product and I love Brook for it! Her retro battle board is amazing too.
