Review on πŸ“± PalmOne m130 Portable Device by Tone Hatton

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good color wearable, good value for money.

I've had my Palm m130 Color handheld computer for about a year now and I have to say it fits me quite well. When it first came out, I was thrilled that Palm finally released a PDA with a color screen, which was just under 300 at the time. At the time, the m515 and m505, its competitors, numbered about five hundred. This is my first PDA and I find it very easy to use. While the manual that came with the m130 didn't help at all, I really didn't need it. Here are the pros and cons of the m130: Pros: * Absolutely beautiful and vibrant color display. * User friendly. This is not a difficult unit to use. It has no fancy features or features that only computer geniuses would know about.* Palm OS. Palm OS seems a bit dated for handheld computers, so it's easy to find free software online to download to your device. You don't have to buy these expensive programs * Wide range of accessories. As it is the m100 series, you can purchase the same accessories as for m100, m125 etc. In most cases you will not need to purchase any accessories made specifically for the m130. Cons: * Backlight stays on. While I initially liked this feature because you don't have to keep the lights on all the time to see the screen unlike the m515 or m505, I quickly found that the battery could drain after minimal use. * It is difficult to understand. remove the front panel. However, after working with the CCP for a while,
