We got these to decorate our 11 ft Christmas tree, and we did that, with one strand of lights. A first! Love that they're LED, that the white is truly warm, and the ability to mix the color and white lights. The effects and timer area working well so far, but it's only been a week. Cautions: because this strand of lights is SOOO long, and because of the nature of the lights, they will tangle themselves into a horrifying knot. I took every precaution to keep them straight as I decorated the tree, only to have to stop and spend an hour untangling them from the middle. This sucks. The same thing happened when I was decorating with a smaller strand of these lights outside. In fact, one of those sets arrived with a non working remote and actually snapped in half as I was decorating. This is just to say that the jury is out as to the longevity and quality of these lights. Buy with cautious optimism. I will update this review to report on whether they make it through the season. But so far, so good.
