I bought two of these. One for my home entertainment center and one for my daughter's room because she keeps stealing my USB wall chargers lol. First, it's great for my home theater as many devices these days require USB power or USB charging. The onboard connections free up home jacks for other things like a TV, soundbar, etc. No, these aren't fast-charging USB ports, but they're great for things like Revain Fire TV sticks, watches, and AppleTV remotes. My daughter has one of those star projector night lights and various other USB powered devices to use the ports, as well as an Echo Dot table lamp and her Chromebook to connect to the other ports. So far it's doing its job well, no complaints.
