So I’m pretty torn on this, but decided it does deserve four stars. I think it’s pretty sturdy once assembled. It’s easy to move around if needed. I will be using mine for yarn storage but I think it could hold clothes, or even some art supplies or small toys. The plastic around it feels fairly sturdy. The spots where the metal is welded together also seems like it will hold up well.I ended up putting this together and taking it apart because I realized I didn’t have the spot it was going to go cleared out. There are a couple things I will do differently when I put it together again. I would pay more attention to the seams on the plastic panels and doors so they all face the same direction. When putting the shelves on, I will make sure the welded part is on top, even though this will just be used for yarn. The instructions also say to use a mallet to tap the pieces into the black connectors. A small plastic one was included which was very comical. I’ll be using a small rubber mallet or hammer though because it was very hard to press all the pieces into the connectors and keep them there when adding new pieces. I think I would also assemble the whole back panel first, then do the rest so it could be laying down and I can press the other pieces in. It was a bit of a struggle since I’m only 5’1”, so getting the leverage to push pieces together really hurt my hands. There were some spots on the wires where the paint was chipping. And when I put the pieces in the brackets, more paint chipped off. Nothing super noticeable but it was a bit annoying. I had absolutely no idea what the small white brackets would do. They seemed a bit flimsy and the pieces could pop apart even with these brackets on. There was also quite a bit of flashing left on both the brackets and connector. The edges of the connectors were also pretty sharp so made my hands sore after trying to press everything together. The instructions were a bit weird too. I do prefer visuals with my instructions, but maybe a little more explanation or description would have been nice.I think the price point for this is a bit steep for what you’re getting. It’s a nice storage piece with a decent amount of room. Even with that and that it was simple to put together, it’s still just a wire shelf with plastic covering.
