These are the best shorts, especially for active boys. These shorts literally look and fit the same from day one as they did on day 1000. They wear well, are very durable, comfortable, stylish, wash well, won't get dirty and have elastic adjusters on the inner waistband. I've never seen a loose thread on the ones we've bought over the years so it almost hurts to give them away when my boy outgrows them. They'll survive far longer than anything you'll ever find in a landfill, if they ever somehow end up there. ;) I will say that the material itself has nothing to do with it and that it most likely won't be the most comfortable fit for a kid with a bit of extra stuff in the trunk. Otherwise I bet they would go very well with most other builds.
