I was beyond annoyed when I brought my architectural mailbox home from the store and found I needed an extra piece to properly attach it to a 4x4 pole. After the cost of the mailbox, I figured I'd screw this thing up and be done with it. But unfortunately I couldn't stand it and I bought this spare part because my wife liked the mailbox and didn't want to return it. Of course, the big store where I bought my mailbox doesn't have it, so luckily I found it here. When it arrived I found it very easy to hang on my mailbox. The 4 screws that hold everything to the wooden post seemed a bit small and cheap to me, so I used something that seemed more appropriate. After everything was done, I was happy with the end result. But with winter approaching in upstate New York, I must beg the plowboys to spare him. If this one gets destroyed, I'll resort to cheap crates on a metal pole!
