Review on ๐ŸŽง Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic 2 - Long 12 Hours Battery Life, Single and Double Ear Switching, iPhone, Samsung, Android Compatible, Advanced Touch Control, Bluetooth 5.0 by Heidi Harter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's like wireless headphones that cost over $300.

I didn't know about this until my friend recommended it to me after I bought it on AliExpress. I figured since he liked them so much I might as well try them out since they're cheap and so far all my wireless headphones have been knockoff official brands I could afford. Before they arrived I would have checked them and thought they were terrible and I would have been wrong. Good things: 1. If you want the best possible demonstration of how amazing they are, plug them into your phone and search Tucker's Zone on YouTube. Not only is the surround sound amazing but so is the sound quality, I could easily point out where each band member is if I pay enough attention. It has great bass, great balance between highs and lows in the music and a nice boom when the bass kicks into high gear. I'm really impressed by how powerful these things are. The battery life isn't as great as some of the big companies that offer 24-48 hour battery life, but honestly nobody needs more than 8 or 9 hours of battery life for headphones. And when they die, the case will charge them for you, it takes half an hour to a full hour to fully charge.3. They fit perfectly and are quite comfortable, now like everything else it will take a day or two to get used to them but after that you will eventually forget they are in your head. 4. And finally the noise cancellation/squelch, I would say they work too well to the point where I was yelled at because I couldn't hear anyone calling me. And in a way it's good because it gives you the opportunity to just switch off from the rest of the world and jam to the music. And surprisingly, they have a microphone and the noise-cancellation is good, but not that good. ok as i would like it i have noticed that if the noise (e.g. the noise of a vacuum cleaner) is constant and loud enough my voice is also muted but other than that i have been told that my voice is clear and clearly is about this microphone. One wonders what the wireless industry is doing wrong. As good as they are, there are a few things I have trouble with. Bad things: 1. I would advise you to strictly pair them with your mobile device. I tried pairing them with my work laptop and the lag wasn't very noticeable at first, but eventually it got to the point where I had to break them. While it's barely noticeable on mobile, or at least I haven't noticed any lag on mobile yet. Don't plug them into your computer, and when you leave, leave them to the music, maybe for discord. or zoom calls at best.2. Buttons are good substitutes for touch controls, as I'm sure we all know they've caused more than enough trouble, but the force I have to exert on them is enough to press them against my ear, where it's almost painful , but definitely uncomfortable. But at the same time, the buttons serve no particular purpose anyway, so they're there when you need to use them, but you probably never will. 3. The case charges via Micro-USB and not USB-C, which annoys me a bit but I can live with that, a decent Micro-USB phone charger is all you really need and for them probably a worthwhile decision . . Probably don't pair them with multiple devices. I discovered this problem after trying them on my laptop. Once paired with more than one device, they get confused and just don't respond to anything until you pair them again.5. They bleed if they're too loud. I no longer suggest listening to music at maximum volume through headphones, let alone headphones, I mean some of us have tinnitus, the last thing we need is to make it worse. But if you listen to music loud enough on the bus, chances are you'll get some nasty looks, like you're THE guy you know who I'm talking about that listens to music through headphones that aren't on. your head. you know who you are Conclusion: Do I recommend them? Absolutely! I mean what steal the prize? This is simply the best bang for your buck. Forget Ray's bugs, forget Airpods, forget SaMsMuG beaN, forget looking for more expensive wireless options that only result in you getting your money back because you couldn't help but pay a month's rent. They are more than good enough and you will (probably) love them. I understand that your experience may not match mine as many reviews are 1 star (or even less) and as far as I know I'm just lucky, but at this point I can't recommend them enough, at worst in this one Scenario you reroll and send them back for exchange and hope you don't land on snake eyes.
