Firstly, if you are c cup and above, size up since there is no stretch and the bust area runs small. This means the waist will be a little roomy and may not show off your waistline but then again, this is a casual, cotton summer dress. Who wants clingy dresses in the hot weather? I don't. Secondly, if you don't want your arms to look like sausages, that's another reason for sizing up since it is cotton with no stretch. Lastly, even though it is lined it is still very thin and kind of sheer. I won't say it is flat out see-through but if you are self conscious about it, just wear a slip to be safe.
