Nice medium tone stainless steel - not too light and not dark/reddish grey. In my opinion the description is wrong - I believe it is 7mm OD (not 7mm ID). The loop is 2mm wide (not as small as in the picture) and the inside of the loop is about 2mm so the 18 gauge jump ring is really hard to get through (bigger definitely won't fit). Required to complete the Kumihimo String of Beads; Unfortunately it didn't work out or the project was bought to be completed. Since there are only 10 of these and I've already marked the tag, I've added them to my stock rather than returning them.
