There is no question that the finished outcome of this particular shoe rack is pretty great. It looks wonderful and it is very sturdy no question. Getting there will take some work however. You will be screwing in some 60 odd screws of various sizes and it would be helpful to have a powered screw driver. I also went ahead and used some Gorilla wood glue for the wooden dowel pins. This thing is not coming back apart. The instructions are decent, but you really need to look at them carefully. This would be easy to assemble incorrectly. All the needed parts, screws, dowel pins, etc. were there. Also, missing from the photos are a couple of nice silver hanger hooks that are on the side and top. Very nice. The bottom "drawer" seems a little cheap as it is just canvas fabric with a semi-rigid bottom. Not for heavy stuff. I think anyone would be happy with the finished product, but it is going to take some work to get there. If you like to assemble things and take your time, great. If not, you might want to explore other options.
