So! I've had these headphones/speakers for almost a year now. Only for PC use. Optical fiber plugged into the Realteck ACL892 and then into the computer. The sound quality was far better than that of cheaper and older speaker models. In general, you wouldn't anticipate hearing such a loud noise from a baby. What sold me on this was not only how it looked, but also how adaptable the connection was. However, I soon discovered that they are capable of far greater success. The sound, while adequate, is flat and devoid of nuance. On the whole, I decided to get an Asus Xonar AE audio card. The plan worked out well. Colors and saturation levels that were not there before surfaced, and there were new features to explore. The speakers' tonal balance has improved greatly. Therefore, I can confidently advise everyone to purchase, however only those have an audio card and not the cheapest. And don't forget to ground the outlet to prevent interference and noise.
