I've used inexpensive carbon steel blades on my saw for many years. They quickly lose their sharpness and suffer from yellow pine tar buildup that slows down any project. I chose this blade because of the hardened teeth. Came packed with a good protector to protect your teeth during transit. The weld is smooth and clean, barely audible when the saw is running. It's sharp and seems to stay sharp. I tapered the four legs of a yellow pine dining table without heat or resin formation. So far this blade is proving to be a very good upgrade over the standard blades. If the teeth stay sharp for a long time I would call it excellent quality. I will buy again. June 10, 2020 Patch The blade is broken. Spent almost a year on this blade. It took a few cleanings and the cut slowed down a bit, but the teeth still seem sharp and the cut was clean. This is the longest blade I have received with a good edge. Recommend.
