After A LOT of research everyone should know that after a few years most protectors can no longer protect and will need to be replaced if that is the protection you need. Also, most of them don't work when there's a big surge, and they're easy on your hardware. I read someone who came across this protector the hard way but if they had researched it they would find that it's more the norm and not just this one. Reset buttons are near or missing. Well, saying that, I really love it. I have different types but this is my favorite. And I'm glad I did the research. So if there's a power surge I'm not at a loss if i have to get a new one. Oh, they say so too
