Yes, it smells, but in most cases it smells like real leather. And that is quality. They fit perfectly. It can be difficult to guess what glove size you are wearing to order online. I'm a nurse and I already knew my size, so surgical gloves fit me best (the sizes are the same as here). Therefore I cannot be of any help in this area. I would say a size 7 fits SM and a size down would definitely be tight for me. Overall I am satisfied with this product. No complaints! And they look pretty cute too!
