Review on DIJA Blue 7 Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven Pot With Lid, Nonstick Round Braiser For Home Baking And Cooking, Includes Side Handles And Mat by Dan Toliver

Beautiful HEAVY pan

First impression of this pan was wow this is a nice very very heavy pan the lid weighs the same as the pan. This is one of the most durable pans I have and I have many since my husband loves to do the cooking he's always out shopping for better quality pans. It's just me and him here but he still cooks like the kids are still home (too much). This is the 7QT size pan in such a pretty color Blue it also comes with rubber grips and pad so you don't burn your hands with it. He has used this for an old fashion New England clam bake, pasta sauce and soup. Soup is a big thing around here and the bigger the pot the more soup. This cooked the food extremely well, no sticking or staining and with such a heavy lid you don't loose and liquids unless you leave a space when putting the cover on. We don't have a lot of shelf room and I'm happy it comes in a sturdy box with a handle so I can store this with our other large pans and just grab the handle and pull out when needed. This is an excellent quality pan and at a great price too.
