Review on 🥬 Maximize Freshness with Prep Solutions by Progressive Lettuce Keeper Container – 4.7 Quarts by Mario Olmos

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've been using it for 3 years

I've been using this container for 3 years and it's impossible to imagine my fridge without it. Every few weeks I wash the romaine lettuce and spinach leaves and place them in a container, separating the two different leaves with the spacer provided. I read some 1 star reviews and they talked about following the directions and putting the water on the floor. I guess I never read the directions because I don't use soil water and my lettuce and spinach usually last about 2 weeks. My process involves chopping and washing leafy greens and then drying them. Then I put them in a container with an open vent. Any moisture will seep through the vents to the bottom of the container, preventing them from sitting in the water and rotting prematurely. Be careful using the dishwasher with this thing as I've had trouble with the lid tearing but I can still close the bin. I recommend hand washing. I've been using this item (washing and refilling constantly) for several years, so I haven't downgraded my rating for the coverage. When it finally breaks, I'll buy a new one.
