Review on Audio-Technica AT-VMN95ML Microlinear Stylus Red - Enhanced Replacement for Turntables by Marcus Curry

I, like many others, bought this to replace the VMN95E. This product sounded great from the first time I dropped the needle. Much less surface noise than ellipticals and much more spacious and full of sound. It took me by surprise and I didn't even get past the break time. I bought this range of AT products to help set up an old 1200 mk2 that has sat for over 20 years. I love how easy it is to start with a basic cartridge and upgrade the needle later. I will double check the alignment but I was too excited to hear this to go through before my first audition. Although I doubt any adjustment is needed. The price might seem a little crazy, especially if you're new to the TT or coming back after a long hiatus, but it's worth every penny. Also, I believe it has the longest recommended playtime of the entire lineup. Great, great purchase.
