What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, I bought it in the parameters 225/45/17 for Skoda Octavia. What follows is purely my reasoning and observations, which may have nothing to do with reality. After the purchase, I ran the tires for 1500 km in the mode: up to 60 km / h and a very smooth start and with the same smooth braking. After already began to slowly increase the pace of driving. Initially, the rubber was harsh, but after running it became softer. I traveled actively, but with my head, so there were no serious moments where the tires could fail. On the ice, ABS worked very often, but the car was good that it had time to slow down) Also, in cold weather, it was from -10 and below at the start, the traction control system actively worked, although I accelerated just like the neighbors downstream. Next will be a story about several cases in which I could not determine what exactly worked well suspension or rubber or suspension + rubber bundle. In a protracted arc, we were driving with a friend around 110 km / h on cold asphalt, a friend was driving in front of the Logan, he was skidded (although he also had new winter tires). I drove after him without noticing anything, a similar situation was when we ped an intersection with a turn and a friend in front began to skid the , and I followed him at the same speed, flew into a turn and the car did not skid, but she just sat down on the right side (as if rested the wheels on the asphalt), and went on without drifts and drifts. It is very difficult to bring a car on snow + ice cover: It happened when I pulled the handbrake in corners (who does not sin with front-wheel drive in winter; )), the car was blown into a skid due to inertia, but as soon as it came out of it, the rhythmic skid, that is, the car did not want to go into the second skid at all. Here the same question arises, what played the main role here? Suspension or tires? In principle, the rubber justified itself as a good tool for operation in a snowy winter, plus at the time of purchase it was cheaper than its compeors. During the season, more than one spike has not come out, but spring has not yet ended)))

Pros
  • Good grip on ice Rows well in the snow
Cons
  • Feels bad on bare cold asphalt (but this is subjective, because these are spikes and you should not expect a hold on asphalt from them) After 6k km in front, the spikes are already starting to ask to get out (there are tears in the tire). But again, this is subjective, with active driving this was most likely to be expected.
