Beats Name Brand Crocks with Warping Lids
I purchased this to replace a much more expensive name brand product after the pricier one's lid warped in less than a month. I was immediately impressed with the quality of this stoneware. The crock is study and the walls are thick enough I'm confident it'll survive mild abuse in the dish drainer and whatnot. I love the clean lines and, best of all, the eco-friendly bamboo lid which I have a lot more confidence in than the wood one on the pricier competitor. Overall, I'm a lot happier with this crock which I'll be using for my sourdough starter, and I am already thinking of purchasing another for sauerkraut fermenting! Great product!
