I was looking for a summer shoe that could be worn indoors (or outdoors) and also used as a slipper. Now that I'm older, I've found that flip flops with socks kill my feet (and legs!) after only wearing them for a short time. I wanted a pair of comfortable briefs (no flip flops) that would provide good arch support and not make my foot slip in them. I usually wear size 7M shoes but since people said these flip flops are big and long I ordered a size 6. They fit me perfectly. They're a little wider at the top, which is okay. I ordered them in Metallic Cherry. I think these Adidas flip flops are great for training. To be on the safe side, order one size smaller than you normally wear.
