Review on 🎡 GPO Brooklyn Portable Boombox - CD Player, Cassette Player, FM Radio, USB, Bluetooth Speaker - 1980s Style - Black by Jason Porter

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This is what happens when someone watches a video of a real boombox and then tries to copy it.

This boombox could have been so good, but instead we have something that barely works. Bad: 1. The radio only picks up one of 20 stations in my area. Both AM and FM are bad.2. The cassette door is so weak that it doesn't close properly, so the cassette isn't inserted deep enough and starts popping and sliding out, making an annoying noise every few seconds.3. The CD player makes a strange noise every time you insert and eject a CD, which sounds like it's running for the last time. The cassette counter is just a timer, it moves forward all the time, even if the cassette is not there or in PLAY mode, or even if you have it in fast forward, there is just no connection with the movement of the cassette. 5. The meters are too bright and spike even at low volume, so what's the point? Good: 1. Looks great.2. The sound isn't bad, but it's not great either.3. Plays CD MP3. Great for my MP3 books. I'm only keeping it because I'm a collector and there's nothing else like it.
