So far so good. I bought large bags of microwave popcorn thinking I could make them in a toaster but to no avail. Enter this machine I hesitated for a moment as I don't have space in the kitchen but I'm counting on forty bucks you can't go wrong with even if it only lasts a few months. The popper doesn't take up too much space and is a lot smaller than a microwave, that's for sure. Seeing popcorn in front of you is a delight and takes no more than 5 minutes. The results are amazing as the popcorn tastes exactly like what I usually get at the cinema. Cleaning doesn't take long as the bottom of the popper is relatively clean and grease free after use. A big part of cleaning is the lid/bowl, which with frequent use doesn't require daily cleaning as each time you open it, it vents the steam produced.
