Works fairly well. Mashed potatoes have a creamier texture, so if that's what you're after, it's definitely worth it. I could see it being more useful for other products like homemade pasta extruders, funnel cakes and similar products. Easy to use and replace blades, most fun to use. It is easy to peel off and you can clean it right after in a few minutes.
