Excellent complement for hair care products Light viscosity and easy gliding through hair. Apply to damp hair and blow dry for added volume and control before applying pomade or styling cream. It can also be used on its own (especially if you already have thick hair) if you don't want the product to penetrate your hair. This adds light hold and frizz control. I've always had thin, straight hair, so I use it as a base when I get out of the shower. I use this product along with several of their water based lipsticks and absolutely love it! I also like the aesthetic they are aiming for; It's a classic barbershop feel. I don't like the smell, but it's not unpleasant either. The scent doesn't give me that classic barbershop smell. I think of barber shops and I think of the smell of talcum powder or soft men's perfume or aftershave. Smells like a fruity car freshener. It's not offensive and doesn't smell. It still smells clean, but it definitely doesn't give me that barbershop scent. And the smell goes away after a while anyway, so I guess it doesn't really matter. Amazing product!
