Good news: the socks are great. Much better fit and feel than the pictures online would suggest. Surprisingly thick and soft in key areas (toe, heel, arch). Supportive and breathable where you want it (on the toe). They are a bit tight when first put on/after washing. Be quick to adapt to your foot and shoes though. Best of all (for me at least) is the toe height. Fits perfectly at the bottom of the ankle. Not above the ankle where it protrudes from the shoe. Not below the ankle like many "non-appearance" socks that ride too low and cause the shoe to rub. But right where it should be. At least for my feet. The bad news: The first time I wore a white pair, I had a hole in my ankle. Maybe just a bad sock out of 4 packs. I hope this is not an indicator of overall quality and life expectancy.
