I like the original Skoon except the urine definitely oozes onto the floor. When I changed the fountain pen, my house stunk all day. It was terrible. I had to place the puppy pads UNDER my plastic liner to prevent urine from getting further into the litter box and to try and mitigate the awful smell. It didn't work that well, so we gave it a try as soon as it came out. We once had 2 dirty piles of urine that never dried out or soaked. Day 3 below. The automatic box kept things fresh by scooping out the solid waste. However, after 3 days, the dirty urine stains now cover 75% of the box and most of the dirty urine stains are raked and scooped out, which means there is less and less dirt available in the box and the urine spreads even more. I feel hopeless and have failed in my quest for a good shot. At over $25 a bag, I expected this to take at least a week. I can't imagine changing that every 3 days. It would be so expensive.
