Review on 🪟 US Window And Floor 2-Inch Faux Wood Cordless Blinds, Inside Mount, 35x84, Smooth White by Jack Boldt

I have two windows that I need blinds for, one window was about an inch wider than the other which was unexpected as I assumed they were the same size so take care to measure each window individually. Measurements are very important and it is recommended to measure the top, middle and bottom for a reason as the top can be wider than the bottom, middle etc and the extra space on each side is required for clearance, since you don't want your blinds to get stuck. (subtract a quarter inch on each side or half an inch from the total measurement). I disagree with another reviewer who said the paint looks thin but I know they may have been in trouble and might be right in their case. The paint looks like a semi-gloss spray paint which is very tacky on any surface especially this flexible light wood as the paint usually soaks into most softwoods like a sponge especially spray paint as it is full of chemical solvents. I believe this is a layer thick enough that regular cleaning won't work, although as the reviewer advised I will still be careful as the wood is thin and everyone knows to be careful with it. Unfortunately, there is one downside that could be worth half a star or more depending on your injury. The sharp metal edges on the main top really cut my finger when I read another reviewer claiming the same thing happens to them, unfortunately I got a few drops of blood but I think it would be ridiculous to round off the thin can. like steel during the manufacturing process or put some kind of rubber or plastic barrier around the sharp edge? It's not really necessary in my opinion, but it should be checked - maybe tape it off or put on gloves before installing if that bothers you, I'd recommend. With those sharp edges and my little boo boo I am still very happy with these blinds and would highly recommend them as the blinds I received were NOT much more expensive than regular cheap vinyl blinds. The payment is about $120. the total for 35 x 84 inches ($62.03) and 34.125 x 84 inches ($52.84). I originally wanted a natural wood color but they sold out and I'm glad they did, white lets in more light and makes the space feel more open. Please double check your measurements as I feel this is the most important thing here and can save you a lot of trouble. About 6 slats just sit on the bottom, I agree as I don't think it looks bad and I'd rather have them too long vertically than short as their size options can be inches apart sometimes it's better to have more than having less in that sense.
