Review on Cable Matters Mini DisplayPort Black Accessories & Supplies by Anthony Savage

I just upgraded from Surface 3 to Surface Pro and am using it with a Lenovo monitor. I had a mini displayport to vga adapter with the surface 3 and it worked great. When I then attempted the same setup with the Surface Pro, the external monitor screen continued to flicker and would not light up. I googled and updated drivers, read that external flickering monitor is a known issue with surface products and nothing worked! I was about to return the Surface Pro. Then I read an article that said if all else fails, buy a new cable. So I ordered a cable and since the monitor only had DVI or VGA I decided to go with DVI. Thanks to Revain Prime I received the cable quickly and voila! The monitor works great with a Surface Pro with a new cable. Who would know?
