The light bar is 100% waterproof, as is the controller. The colors are not bad, there are some issues with green, there is some yellow, red is more purple. The response is quick and works well with smart stuff. The main reason I gave it 3 stars is because I opened the box and the whole strip was slimy with grease. I tried cleaning it up and it got a lot better, but it's still there. I soaked it in Spray 9 and rubbed the entire strip twice, then filled the sink and left it there for 30 minutes in warm soapy water with the Twilight soap and then wiped with a paper towel, using a new one every few times. Feet, but some of the stickiness just won't go away. Another thing to note, there is no glue on the strip, it includes mounting clips and screws.
