I like that I don't need scissors to separate the two booties. There is a serrated line that allows you to pull the booties apart by hand. There are also two tape strips so you can close the booties at the top but I like to add two ankle socks to keep the booties close to my skin but also because the socks allow me to safely walk around the house if I need to do so.
