I am very impressed with this dehydrator. Although this is my first I can't compare myself to others but I will say that I did my research that led to this one. The first dehydrator I ordered was from a different manufacturer but got lost in transit and then sold out. I was hesitant to spend that much on an "unbranded" dehydrator, but this one is amazing and well worth the money. I've cooked jerky, dried herbs, marshmallows, crackers, etc. and everything has turned out perfect and on time or even earlier. The capacity is also very large - I was able to fit 5 large zucchini in just 4 bowls.
