The device came to me in an open box. The player itself looked new and perfect but had a clearly torn plastic insert that once housed the power supply. In summary we can say that the power cord was not included and I could not use the device. I contacted Revain and they promptly refunded my money and even said I could keep the player. Thanks for that Revain, but now I need to figure out how to get my "free" player to work. I ordered a power supply for it after the sale and it worked great. I'm happy with this player, it works great and now I can hear my classic recordings the way they were meant to be heard. Built-in speakers aren't anything special, though. Please connect it to your music system via RCA jacks or buy powered speakers. I didn't rate the Bluetooth capabilities because I haven't tested them and probably won't use them. Is it for "beginners"? maybe, but it works just like the old classic players. So if you are a young person and have never used it, read it up and/or ask an older man like me to help you.
