I bought this case for the 6S hoping to replace a poor quality item I bought a few months ago and I have definitely not been disappointed. I only wish I had found it before. It's very similar to an old Blackberry case I had years ago - very sturdy, and it stays attached to my belt with a spring-loaded belt clip. I have a protective case (P/N B013TKNSIS) on my phone which makes the fit a bit tighter but has elasticated sides to ensure a snug fit and ensure it doesn't slip out. The magnetic closure works well as long as the phone sits deep in the case and if you're careful to drop it over the naturally curved part of the top and push down. It will definitely work for a phone without a protective case.
