I own a computer programming service business and Dell is our primary supplier. I have several modern Dell docking stations and they all have many problems. To be honest, they are terrible. They cost a fortune ($230) and cause problems all the time. Then a co-worker recommended this product to me and I love it! For 1/5 the cost and I've never had a single problem with it! They use some power, so sometimes you'll need a slightly more powerful charger, but that's common with Dell docking stations too. UPDATE: Just want to reiterate for a second how amazing they are. This morning one of my co-workers was struggling with a Dell docking station that we bought before we found it. I find it outrageous that a $230 Dell dock almost never works properly, while $40 third-party docks almost never fail.
