I read all the reviews on this remote and knew that about one in five reviewers gave it a star because it didn't work properly. I needed a new remote control because my XRS500's display stopped working and I couldn't adjust the levels to use my newly purchased turntable. I've followed all the troubleshooting steps recommended on the Vizio website. Nothing worked. It seems a glaring flaw with any technology that its functionality should be limited to something like a blown lightbulb. It's just impossible to complete the levels correctly without being able to see the screen. This error is the responsibility of Vizio and not the seller of this product, Beyution Factory. Still, I'm giving this seller one star because they delivered a product that was easy to test before shipping. Right out of the box I put batteries in this remote control and the screen didn't work at all. This is the first time I've had to give something back to Revain. Stay away from it.
