Review on HHIP 1030 0626 BBL10 Indexable Boring by Mike Wallace

I snagged this on sale for under $9 so I decided to take a chance and buy what looked like a really weird looking boring bar that has the same TCMT inserts as the cheap ones 5.0 kits lathes can use. No, I have a real boring bar that uses TP high-rake inserts. I'd say it's probably worth the regular price as it seems to be 'we'd use it ourselves' in the Chinese high-end class. Definitely not junk! As you can see from the photos what arrived was printed with the code S08R-STFPR2. With that in mind I'm not sure how well they are labeled as I don't fully understand all the codes yet.
