I really enjoy using this sketchbook with my white gel pens. I usually do pencil sketches before inking so I was a little worried that after erasing too much and removing any surface color the paper would turn white, but it comes out completely black! It's good quality, the paper is a good size, it's not too big or too small, it's perforated at the top so you don't have to worry about dirty edges if you need to take the page out for whatever reason. I've never had a top bound sketchbook and I have to say I prefer it on top now! This is much less annoying when drawing. Will definitely pick it up again when the black pages are gone.
