I can only speak of using this product to avoid blisters. When I hike or run long distances (more than 4-5 miles) I get blisters on the soles of my feet. It's weird that I can walk 5+ miles and not get blisters, it must be due to the different gait mechanics of walking and running, I don't know. Putting these 2 skin patches on my "hot spots" (the spots I know are most blister prone) BEFORE I go camping or going for a walk will prevent blisters 100%. They hold up well and are really a pleasure to walk in. However, due to sweat and heat, they break down and become inoperable over time, requiring replacement every few hours (I hike a lot). But it's better to have painful blisters. However, use these bandages for prevention if you have blisters. It's about prevention! There's nothing worse than trying to walk with blisters other than maybe wet feet, but both are terrible. Do yourself a favor and stock up if you're prone to blisters. I've tried everything and this is the best blister prevention solution for me. You will thank me!
