I wore them on an 8 day trip to Mexico City. I only wore them once before traveling to make sure they didn't cause blisters. The fit was just right. It was dry season so the shoes never got wet or caught in the rain. It was winter, so the temperature never rose above 75 degrees. So no excessive sweating as such, no moisture from the environment.
