Excellent holders for stockings, but.

They're relatively light, but I solved this problem by putting small candle jars in holders. The bottom of the holder is a little "rough". So if you put it on nice furniture or delicate fabrics, you need to protect it as it may scratch the surface or get caught on the fabric.
