Getting this cap's threads started on a ThermoFlask requires two hands and a firm grip, but these seem to work well enough once fully seated. Once the threads have been started, the last half of the tightening is actually easy. Also, a bigger grip surface on the flip-over cap would have been nice, but the fact that it's there at all is an improvement over the original TF design, so that's just a suggestion, not a gripe. I found that I needed to trim the end of the straw at a small angle to make sure there was clearance with the bottom of the flask; my first cut was apparently just a tiny bit shy of "enough".
