Works on my cat tree

I used this to retwine the main post on my cat tree. The original twine didn't last more than 3 months. I installed with two solid lines of hot glue the full length of the post, one on each side, so there's hardly any movement. Even with aggressive pulling and scratching from three cars, it stays strong and hasn't shredded to pieces going on 4 months. I'm pleased, the cats are 'pleased' and the dog doesn't care.
