A Tale About The Search For The Perfect Boots

I've been a mail carrier for twenty-two years. Each year I buy a pair of snow boots hoping for the perfect pair only to be disappointed. Till now. I drive and walk though snow and over ice in rural Eastern Washington State to deliver to 600 families. I've slipped on the ice or got snow melting and seeping into my boots more times than I can count. All the boots came only on whole sizes so they were a half size to big which retained cold air. They were all heavy and left my legs tired at the end of the day. I wore these for a week. I've waded though two feet of snow. No seeping. I've walked over ice. No falling. My feet haven't felt cold since these boots came in half sizes and fit perfectly. There lighter than my sneakers. I bought the high ankle style and will buy again next season.

Pros
  • 13.43 x 8.82 x 5.08 inches; 1.46 Pounds
Cons
  • The boots have a stiff and inflexible construction that can be uncomfortable to wear for extended periods
