This is a great speakerphone for my car. The pins on the back slid easily into the vent. On my special spline, the narrow gap direction offers a very good hold. One of my concerns was that when removing the phone from the mount the strong magnetic pull could remove the mount along with the phone, but I have removed the phone from the mount multiple times and this has only happened once. Because it happened, I give it four stars out of five. I didn't feel like putting a metal disc on the back of the phone, but as it turned out, with my special phone and case, I was able to easily mount the disc. Go where I wanted without glue and the phone cover keeps it securely in place. It might not be for everyone. Another question I had was whether the phone would be easily visible while driving. There is some 'tilting' capability provided by the range of motion of the vent louver. This ability to tilt is enough for me to see the phone easily. This was important to me as I use it for navigation. I only needed one of the car mounts but the price was so good I agreed to buy two. I gave the second slide to my daughter.
