Too much static. Clings to glass
Removing the protective plastic creates so much static electricity that the matte finish picks up dust from the air and bubbles underneath. I installed on an anti-static mat that is properly grounded and which I use for my electronics hobby. If you then remove the top protective plastic, the matte screen will pull away from the screen and won't come off again. Back to glass as it is much easier to use and lasts longer.
