Perfect locks for small holdalls. It's a big deterrent, but nothing more. I use them when storing my clothes in my gym locker. I wouldn't use them to lock my house or safe etc, but that's what they're for! No problems with them breaking or failing after 6 months of regular use. Update I've been using these locks for over 2 years and I still love them. They still work great and I still use them at the gym. They are the perfect deterrent and I love that I don't have to twist that stupid wheel lock back and forth 3 times and it could get messed up. I can unlock this in less than 5 seconds. It's that easy. I depend on other consumers for their true and detailed experiences, so I don't have to have problems with an inadequate product.
