Disappointed - Towels
After reading the reviews I was glad to try this towel. I knew it was no ordinary terry towel, and I didn't expect it. While it's beautiful, it's not a towel. This is a piece of thin cotton fabric. I washed it in cold water before use, hoping it would soften. After the first wash, the "new" feel is gone, but it's definitely not soft or absorbent. It didn't dry me out. It's basically the same as using an Oxford shirt as a towel. Like I said, it's beautiful and I'll find other uses for it, but it's not a towel.
